No, seriously folks. When I say cheap, I really mean it.

Here’s the thing: I don’t know if Toonstorm just has a huge surplus of accounts just sitting around, or if they’ve just decided it’s time to push the envelope during the current announcement lull, but they’re offering some awesome deals.

Usually about this long after the last major announcement I’ll see prices taking a pretty steep dip. The rush to get a new account so you can play with the new stuff just isn’t there anymore. Now they’re just wanting to get their more steady market. These are the people who are finally getting bored with the character they have and really want to try out something new. Some of the sales will be those desperate moments where a guild loses a critical character and needs to replace it ASAP, but those are rarer.

Unfortunately for them, it gets harder and harder to make those sales as time goes on.

That is, unless there’s a really, really good deal going with it.

And at Toonstorm right now, there is.

The deal, in a nutshell, is to buy one toon, get one or more at a discount. This deal can range pretty wildly depending on what it is you want to buy.

A good example is one I found earlier. The primary character is a male undead death knight (unholy build) for $142. He comes with 11 epic pieces of gear and 5 rares. In and of itself, a really great toon for the price. But, with that you can also save $56.80 on one of three other alts. They include a level 80 human warlock, a level 80 blood elf paladin, or a level 80 gnome rogue. Each of these alts is as completely decked out as the main character, and can all be used on the same CD key.

As Billy Mays once said, “But wait! There’s more!”

If you buy all three alts, you get them at 50% off the total price (actually a little more if you do the math yourself). Basically you get all three alts for 333.50, when you’d normally pay over $1100 if you bought them individually. Plus, they’re all on the same key, which saves you the expense of buying more of those.

This is just one of those deals that I don’t think is worth passing on. If you were going to buy wow accounts, I would say now is the time.

Wow accounts review blog

30th December 2009

Okay, sorry about the extended absence.  Things got really busy towards the end of summer so I wasn’t able to do the account buy with my uncle like I’d planned.  His tour got extended for another 6 months at the last minute, so I’ve been holding off on posting until he came back.  I would have posted sooner, but no one was really interested in buying an account until just recently.  Money is just tight all over, it seems.

But, there’s new stuff out there that has people making new plans to buy wow account.  If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, then you haven’t been playing wow for the last few weeks.  The 3.3 patch dropped a couple of weeks ago which means all sorts of new bosses, items, and the chance to kill the Lich king himself!  I’ve run that a few times myself, and it’s absolutely amazing.  It’s working out well for people who want to buy accounts, too, because places have been offering sales like crazy lately.

For example, Toonstorm has an amazing deal on a human death knight.  It comes with 4 epics and 8 rares and blacksmithing/mining.  Normal pricing is $425, but they’ve cut it down to $157.  And that’s only one of the deals I found there.  They had thousands of other deals on wow accounts, just as good, and they’re all backed by the same money-back guarantee that I’ve mentioned before.

Well, my uncle should be back stateside in a week or so, so he’ll be buying an account shortly after that.  I’ll be able to post a review then.  Plus, one of my old friends has been talking about it, too.  I’ll see if I can’t sell him on the idea a little more so I can have another review for you later.  I’ll keep you posted on what happens.

Later!

WoW Accounts Review Blog

13th June 2009

wowza!

It’s been a great month the weather’s beautiful and the sun is shining here in sunny AZ!
One thing I didn’t count on when I started writing this blog is how hard it’d be to find someone to test buy every month for me, I’ve actually got one lined up soon though – a guy’s getting back from Iraq and has promised to take up wow account plans on buying an account. He’s my uncle so we should be able to get a first hand look at whatever wow account site we decide to try!

This past weekened I went to Toonstorm, the site I reviewed last month just to kind of do a follow up, check their ratings etc. I don’t want to send people somehwere bad – and all is still good there. I did notice one change though however they have a pretty sweet new account selling option which can save a buyer a good amount of money. Basically if you see this logo:

It basically means that you’re able to purchase the account without moving it onto another account. This option can set the account down considerably in the price department. I was looking at a hunter for example normally priced 525, slashed to 375 and then down to about 275 after that for an INCREDIBLY stacked account. I think prices drop a bit comming into the summer – more kids looking for beer money I suppose – so it’s a pretty good time to buy wow account, and with the new option and over 3000 wow accounts it’s still the best bet I’ve found.

I’ll get the other blog up when my uncle’s back, but in the meantime if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to post a comment or use the contact form!
Thanks!
